That’s right folks, I gave it a 9 on the meter.  God what a great time!  Mud stars Matthew McConaughey, Tye Sheridan, Jacob Lofland and Reese Witherspoon.  Mud (McConaughey) is a fugitive of the law guilty of murder (and loving someone a bit too much maybe) who finds himself at the aid of two boys (Sheridan and Lofland).  Now Mud has got some bad news following him in the form of some pissed off redneck bounty hunters.

The two boys go through quite a journey or theft and self-discovery to help Mud save his one true love Juniper (Witherspoon) and escape the bounty hunters.  The cinematography alone is worth your time.  Beautifully filmed with some phenomenal performances are backed by a captivating script landing this on my fav list so far.  The twists and turns are skillfully crafted and kept me glued for the entirety of the movie.  Jeff Nichols was responsible for this gem so if you haven’t seen it, get him some of your money via DVD purchase.  All around great flick and yes ladies, you see Matty without his shirt on for a bit.
